Cultural Heritage, in particular in the Mediterranean area;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create a training offer that fosters dialogue between the academic world, society and policy makers;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To generate knowledge and develop skills that will strengthen research in European policies for Cultural Heritage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-neve-link-color-color has-text-color\"><strong>Specific objectives<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Promote knowledge on the History of the European Union<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recognize the reasons for the integration of Portugal in the group of Euro-Mediterranean countries and analyse its role in the framework of the European Union initiatives for the Mediterranean Region<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify the challenges and opportunities for cultural heritage in the framework of European policies for the Mediterranean, in the field of integration, intercultural dialogue, cooperation and partnerships for sustainable development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Study the History of the Mediterranean in the long term;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Define and discuss the concept of \u201cMediterranean Cultural Heritage\u201d;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acquire basic concepts on protection and management of Cultural Heritage;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Know and explore the policies and strategies of the European Union for the Euro-Mediterranean region (Euromed, UfM, European neighbourhood policy, cohesion policy and European integration, migration policy);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discuss migration crisis in the Mediterranean and Human Rights;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recognising European values and discussing European multiculturalism;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recognise the main European organisations and institutions responsible for cultural heritage protection policies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Know the European legislation for cultural heritage;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Explore and analyse the strategies and initiatives of the European Union in the field of cultural heritage;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recognise the European funding programmes in the field of cultural heritage;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analyse reports produced by European Union bodies on cultural heritage;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analyse concrete case studies focused on the protection and enhancement of cultural heritage, in the Mediterranean region;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apply research methods and develop scientific writing skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div
